Took my college age son as a gift. Such an AMAZING experience. It was an individual session which walked through how to maintain and care for the tree. Will definitely want to do it again for myself.

Visiting Louisville for business and on my way out of the city at the last minute I contacted Russell for an appointment to see his trees. My only regret is I did not go earlier. It was last minute and I had a short time frame but Russel offered to give me a lesson on the care and shaping the bonsai. There were so many beautiful trees to choose from (seeing his personal collection is was worth the drive alone), I Selected one and Russel transformed it from a beautiful tree into a piece of art! He was an informative instructor and it is obvious his first priority is teaching and not just selling. Thank you Russell for the great experience.

It is a rare experience in my opinion to see trees as if they have a dancing soul, this was my first impression looking at the Bonsai at Twisted Nature. Russ scheduled a basic introduction to Bonsai within 24 hours of my call. He was very clear, knowledgeable and reinforced my learning to care for my Bonsai. He was worth the very affordable cost for lesson and materials. I left feeling confident.

Truly knowledgable person. I was really taken with Russ and his massive collection of Bonsai Trees. Being a true professional, he had extensive knowledge of all of the trees he has in his care. Russ obviously cares a lot about the trees he has, and it reflects in how beautiful his set up was. I look forward to future purchases for him. When I went to purchase a tree from him, I had my teen age nephew with me, and after Russ spoke with him about the art of Bonsai, my nephew left there asking if he could borrow a book or two to read up about the historian art of Bonsai. He could not stop talking about Russ and his beautiful collection. He now is interested in starting a tree.

Twisted Nature Bonsai has a very wide selection of Bonsai trees and plants in various stages of development. From small starter cuttings to fully developed trees ready for styling. They have a large selection of Bonsai pots from training containers to beautiful handmade pots all shapes and sizes. There is Bonsai soil, wire and fertilizer for sale also. Russ is extremely well versed in plant health and care of all species of plants. You can schedule a private session and pick out a plant and pot right there. He will help you and show you how to pot the plant at the correct viewing angle and he has soil and wire if you need it to take home a beautiful tree to care for and admire for years to come. I’ve been working with Russ for years and love to go over and see all the new plants he has. Selection is always changing and there’s something new there all the time. If I have a question about a plant or tree I can e-mail of Facebook message Russ and he will find the answer. That’s what’s nice about Twisted Nature Bonsai is that there are several ways to contact Russ and it’s in Louisville and easy to get to. Keep up the great work
